The traditional Viennese club, founded in 1899, is the Austrian record champion with 32 championship titles. Furthermore, so far they have won 14 national cups and were able to celebrate winning the German Championship and the German Cup once each. At European level, they celebrated their greatest successes in the mid-80s and 90s, when they were represented in the final of the Cup Winners' Cup twice.
