포르투갈 세군다리가(2부리그) 마프라에서 뛰던 2001년생 이광인이 독일로 이적한다. 행선지는 현재 독일 2. 분데스리가(2부리그) 1위인 장크트파울리다.
축구계 관계자는 <베스트 일레븐>을 통해 “이광인이 포르투갈을 떠나 장크트파울리로 이적한다. 조만간 구단의 공식 발표가 있을 예정이며, 일단 2021-2022시즌까지 임대 형태로 팀에 몸담게 된다. 추후 완전 이적에 대한 논의도 어느 정도 마친 상태다”라고 밝혔다.
장크트파울리는 몇몇 한국인이 머물렀던 독일 클럽이다. 박이영과 최경록 등이 과거 이 팀에서 뛰었다. 때문에 장크트파울리는 한국 선수들에게 친밀도가 높은 편이며, 이번에 유니폼을 입는 이광인도 적응에 퍽 유리할 수 있다.
Der FC St. Pauli verstärkt sich in Kürze mit dem jungen Südkoreaner Gwang-in Lee vom portugiesischen Zweitligisten CD Mafra. Das berichtet das koreanische Portal Best Eleven unter Berufung auf einen Funktionär. Der 20-jährige Flügelstürmer wird demnach zunächst bis Saisonende ausgeliehen und kann dann fest verpflichtet werden. Die Hamburger haben sich im Werben gegen portugiesische und dänische Erstligisten durchgesetzt. St. Pauli wird für Lee nach Mafra die zweite Station in Europa.

Ich bin immer wieder erstaunt, wo Kollege Bornemann manchmal Spieler herzaubert. Und wenn ich nen Spieler nicht kenne, wie zuvor schon Aremu, Smith oder Irvine, okay. Aber selbst von diesem Verein hab ich zuvor noch nie gehört...
